Credit union deposits in PLN and foreign currencies held in the name of the following are covered:
- natural persons,
- non-governmental organizations, as defined in the Act on Public Service Activity and Volunteering
- church or religious organizations with legal person status,
- cooperatives
- labour unions
- housing associations.
Credit union deposits in PLN and foreign currencies held in the name of the following are NOT covered:
- cooperative savings and credit unions (deposits made in one credit union by another credit union),
- the National Association of Cooperative Savings and Credit Unions,
- the management of cooperative savings and credit unions.
