From the day on which the Bank Guarantee Fund Act came into force, i.e. since 17 February 1995, BFG has executed reimbursements to depositors of 94 insolvent banks (5 commercial banks and 89 cooperative banks). Reimbursements of guaranteed deposits executed by the Bank Guarantee Fund have amounted to PLN 814,400,000 and encompassed nearly 319,000 covered depositors.
