The President of Poland appoints Anna Trzecińska as Vice-President of the National Bank of Poland

On 24 October, President Bronisław Komorowski signed a motion by National Bank of Poland (NBP) President Marek Belka, appointing Anna Trzecińska to the post of Member of the Management Board and Vice-President of NBP.

The decision is linked to the expiration of the term of office of Witold Koziński, Vice-President of NBP.

Anna Trzecińska is a graduate of the Central School of Planning and Statistics in Warsaw (since renamed the Warsaw School of Economics). She has 25 years of experience working for NBP. Between 2005 and 2008 she was a Member of the NBP Management Board. Prior to that her posts include serving as Deputy Director and subsequently Director of NBP’s Department of Monetary and Credit Policy. Since 1 November 2009, by decision of the Council of the Bank Guarantee Fund, she has served as Deputy President of the Bank Guarantee Fund.
