The Bank Guarantee Fund hosted a joint seminar with representatives from the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) in Warsaw, Poland, on May 20-22, 2013.
Representatives from both institutions had the opportunity to exchange experiences in the areas of the target fund ratio framework, tools employed in the orderly liquidation of banks (resolution), aspects of the early warning system, which allows the identification of banks under threat of insolvency, as well as issues related to public awareness policy.
