The 45th Executive Council Meeting of the International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI) was held in Basel, Switzerland on 1-4 June 2015. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Jerzy Pruski, the IADI President and Chair of the Executive Council of the Association. Challenges ahead of IADI and the direction of possible adjustments of the functioning of the Association were the main topic of the discussions. The Executive Council meeting was preceded by meetings of IADI Standing Committees and Subcommittees. The third IADI Research Conference entitled “Current Issues facing Deposit Insurers” accompanied the meetings.
