Mr. Jerzy Pruski, President of the Bank Guarantee Fund and President and Chair of the Executive Council of the International Association of Deposit Insurers, participated in the European Summit on Recovery and Resolution Strategies on 24 September 2013 in London.
Mr. Pruski delivered a speech on the evolution of the financial safety net and the role of deposit guarantee systems in resolution. Additionally, alongside representatives from the European Banking Authority, the Bank of England and the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority, he took part in a panel discussion on the topic of proposed new regulations in the area of resolution of financial institutions.
