On 4th September 2013, a seminar for representatives of cooperative savings and credit unions was held at the Bank Guarantee Fund in Warsaw, with the aim of highlighting new regulations introduced by the Act of 19 April 2013 amending the act on cooperative savings and credit unions and certain other acts (Journal of Laws of 2013, item 613), on the basis of which amendments were also introduced to the Act on the Bank Guarantee Fund.
The items touched upon during the discussion included deposit guarantees in credit unions, aspects of a recent draft decision by the Minister of Finance that pertain to the calculating system, technical aspects of transferring data to BFG and the principles of extending financial assistance and support.
