On August 28, 2012 Jerzy Pruski, President of the Management Board of the Bank Guarantee Fund and Vice Chair of the Executive Council of the International Association of Deposit Insurers delivered the speech on the role of deposit insurance in the financial safety net at the FSI/IADI Seminar on Bank Resolution: Current Developments, Challenges and Opportunities.
The Seminar was jointly organized by the Financial Stability Institute and IADI and was held at the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland. It was attended by about 60 participants representing deposit insurance schemes, central banks and financial supervisors from all over the world.
