The delegation of the Bank Guarantee Fund under the leadership of Jerzy Pruski, the President of Management Board of BFG, took part in the 36th IADI Executive Council Meeting of the International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI), which was organized on 26-28 of June 2012 in Washington.
During the meeting Jerzy Pruski, the President of BFG, presented the review of the Financial Sector Assessment Program (FSAP) conducted by International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB). The aim of the presentation was to encourage the institutions guaranteeing deposits to voluntarily apply for deposit guarantee systems being covered by FSAP reviews.
During the visit to Washington the President of Management Board of BFG took also part in a few meetings with the WB and IMF representatives, including Jose Viñals, Financial Counsellor and Director, Monetary and Capital Markets Departament, International Monetary Fund.
