On May 22, 2012 Mr. Jerzy Pruski, President of the Management Board of the Bank Guarantee Fund participated in the High-Level Symposium on Supervision in Madrid, Spain. The Symposium was organized by the Institute of International Finance and hosted by the central bank of Spain. It gathered many prominent experts in bank supervision from all over the world.
Discussions during the Symposium concentrated on better interaction between supervision and risk governance, cross-sectoral oversight, cooperation of supervisors with resolution authorities as well as on cross-border cooperation and effectiveness of colleges.
